  • Any resident of Quebec aged fifty-five (55) and over who agrees to abide by the Council’s rules and supports its mission.

  • You can apply by completing a membership form, which is available at the CBAC office or can be downloaded from the website.

  • CBAC offers General Membership, Lifetime Membership, Honorary Membership, and Organization Membership.

  • Members have access to various programs, events, and services and can participate in CBAC's governance by voting at general meetings.

Yes, there is a fee for General and Organization Memberships, while Lifetime and Honorary Members are exempt from annual dues.

Volunteer Information

  • To become a volunteer, complete the application form on our website or at the CBAC office.

  • Volunteers can assist with friendly visits, appointment accompaniment, daily telephone calls, activity reminders, and helping with social, recreational, and educational activities.

  • While we appreciate any time you can offer, we encourage volunteers to commit to regular involvement to build relationships with members and provide consistent support.

  • No specific qualifications are required, but a caring attitude and a willingness to help are essential.

Yes, you can volunteer without being a member, though many volunteers choose to become members as well.
